After we initially were contacted by the client with a rough idea of the kind of Garden Office/Pod that they wanted, we arranged to meet and discuss their exact requirements in detail as each design & build is bespoke. After meeting with the client, seeing the existing buildings on the property and assessing the proposed location within the garden, we went away and provided a detailed plan & quote.
The proposed location of the bespoke Garden Office/Pod with attached veranda was far from level, so we used a sturdy ground screw foundation and suspended floor. Using a suspended floor eliminates a lot of the problems that occur with cheap shed lookalikes.
We then hand-built & fully insulated the pressure treated framework so as to withstand the coldest of winters. The building required custom sourced cladding to match the exterior of the neighbouring buildings as to better blend into the space.
